Wilsons Prom Melt

Here are some images of the ice that Sarah Tomasetti and I created for the Wilsons Prom melt. Inspired by the tannin found in the waters at Tidal River, we used the Darby River and Tidal River as they both have their source situated within the Prom's National Park. These ice were created with those 2 waterways in mind, with deep browns that edge their way to the sandy outlet near the beach. A special wilderness that many Victorians enjoy escaping to.

Sarah's beautiful painting titled: Source, is positioned up high in a revered position, a reminder that glacial waters are the largest frozen reserves of fresh water. Mountain ice is the source for many great rivers around the globe, upon which many people rely not only for water but also for agriculture, industry, food and as a spiritual source.
